Alex & Rosa // Wedding
Updated: Mar 19
"And I'd choose you,
in a hundred lifetimes,
in a hundred worlds,
in any version of reality,
I'd find you and I'd choose you."
Rosa and Alex's wedding day was full of laughter and smiles all day long! The day started off with Rosa helping do her families and friends hair. The ceremony was a gorgeous reflection of love in every way possible. And the reception was made complete with a mariachi band, a tres leche cake made by Alexs Bakery (El Nuevo Progresso Bakery), and a choreographed dance that Alex and his groomsmen did for Rosa (I can't even describe how amazing this was).
Alex's version of their love story:
I don't remember my first day of school. I don't remember my first day in high school I don't even remember when I fist learned to drive But I do remember the fist time I saw you the first moment I laid eyes on you the first time I felt butterflies in my stomach from seeing you. I remember The first time you looked at me. I remember what you were wearing. I remember your short hair. That chili winter night in the U of A parking deck change my life. Today, on our wedding day, I am filled with happiness. I fell so blessed, so full of joy. Because I am marrying my best friend my confidant, my partner in crime. Lol. I want you to know that on our wedding day only one thing matters. If we have mishaps, whoopsies, or what ever. None of that matters. The only that that matters is that you and I will be married. I can't wait to see what other surprises lay in store for us in the future and for the rest of our lives. I can't wait to be your husband and be the husband you deserve and fill your life with joy, and love. Our wedding day will be a day I will remember for the rest of our lives.
Rosa's version of their love story:
Our story started 12 years ago. Alex and I met through his sister Josefina, heading to a Foo Fighters concert. At first, I just saw him as Josefina's brother. I started going to the bakery on the weekends and I'd see him there. He was always pleasant. A couple of years later, I found out that I had caught Alex's eye that very day! He liked me from a far and finally asked me to hang out. We became instant friends and soon started traveling to more concerts, comedy shows and eventually traveling aboard to discover new beaches. He became my confidant with each passing day. These last 10 years, he's treated me with so much patience, kindness, and love. What I appreciate about him the most is that he is patient with everyone and never speaks ill of people.
